No, I don't think so. News on AGW/climate science is still published regularly, though it is not hyped as much. Also, several Republicans up for election had stated that they would make it a high priority to begin investigations and hearings on climate science to uncover some sort of fraud they think exists - regardless of your views on that (it can be further debated in the Global Warming section), the issue is still strong. The only difference is media coverage.



Even then, I think that it will come back into the media more. If I'm not mistaken, the recession officially ended not too long ago, and with the IPCC's AR5 to be published soon, it will become popular again I assume.

For most people global warming is accepted fact and the deniers are not going to listen to reason, so the news media has lost interest.



The solutions to global warming are technical and political. The technical solutions are not too much of a problem, but the political problem is what to do about world overpopulation and only the Chinese Government have had the courage to take any action. You might think that liberal democracies will never tell their citizens to breed less, but that overlooks the real solution. Yes I do think they have forgotten about the so called global warming, they are also very bitter, the people who caused the GLOBAL financial crisis (bankers) have got off with it scot free, the money labour (god bless 'em) had to borrow to bail out the banks and the stupid bankers has now to be paid back by the poor, old, and infirmed, they are also very bitter that the bankers are still getting multi million pound bonuses
No, unfortunately. I mean I'm glad there are people that are invested in trying to reduce our carbon emissions, but we can't go backwards technologically. Society won't do that, and has never done that.Do you think the global financial crisis has made everyone forget about global warming?

All the scandal surrounding the data processing, and the "missing" original data started the ball rolling on people forgetting about global warming.
