Is there much distance between the different parts of Hollywood?

Just wondering if West and East Hollywood or North and South etc are that far apart. And is there a subway system?Is there much distance between the different parts of Hollywood?There is no east or south hollywood. There is Hollywood (part of the city of Los Angeles), North Hollywood (also part of LA, about 10 miles north over the Hollywood Hills in the San Fernando Valley), and West Hollywood (which is its own incorporated city, which is immediately west of Hollywood).



There is a subway which runs from NoHo to Hollywood, and continues downtown.
