Why some villain and serial killers are being glorified in hollywood?

You will noticed that there are many movies in Hollywood that mystified and even glorified some bad people and murderer, for sur this is not good for viewer specially the young audience since this might think that being bad is good, do you think it is better to control this glorification of criminal and bandits in hollywood or we should just leave it to the censorship board?Why some villain and serial killers are being glorified in hollywood?The reason they are being glorified is very simple. The people making movies, tv programs etc. are complete and utter morons. I have not watched tv in over a year now and will not hook up tv in my home anymore. The media is a sickening and awful brainwashing device. Kids watch it and try to mimic what they see. Just look at when rap music exploded in the media. Every young kid age 10-sometimes even 30 is walking around sporting some gangsta outfit, talking about woman as "b*tches" swearing, causing trouble, some kids are even getting into criminal things like gangs, robbery, carrying around knives etc etc. Now think about when the gay community blew up in the media. Every young kid you see these days claims they are "bi" its ridiculous. The media has turned our society into a big degenerate stink hole! You would think with such a powerful tool, somebody would be putting some kind of positivity into the world for the kids to eat up. Yet hollywood is filled with gore, violance, gang glory, etc etc. Just sickening.

I don't think there really is a way to control it, the cencorship board obviously doesnt do their job very well, but what can we do right?



as the person above said, the saw movies are disgusting. The people who made those movies should be jailed. no question about it. My question is, how ignorant of a person do you have to be to enjoy a movie like this? I think that's about as dumb as it gets. I don't think it should be put under any control. It is parent's responsibility to educate their kids on right and wrong, no matter what they see.

i think there is a major attraction to the powerful killer these days. for example the SAW series, where the torturer is presented in a psycological light- 'he has his reasons'. also hannible the cannible, etc. i dont know how we could stop this from happening- its everywhere, expecially video games (assassins creed for example!)

it creates a sense of power for the player and viewer which i agree, is totally unnatural. why the hell would someone want to go see SAW, a film basically filled with horrific torture and murder scenes. my friend once said it was exciting. this is disgusting!Why some villain and serial killers are being glorified in hollywood?Oh, gtfo of here with this "save the children" nonsense. Watching movies doesn't make you violent or murderous.



We disassociate ourselves from the victims of killers because it is often too horrific, so horrific as to be beyond our comprehension. We cannot drown ourselves in their sorrows, just like we can't drown ourselves in the sorrows of young children starving in third-world countries, or we would be emotionally crippled. What you see in Hollywood is the result of that.Why some villain and serial killers are being glorified in hollywood?
