Why do all great actors in Hollywood lean to the right in politics?

I like movies but hate liberal actors. the good news is Iv'e noticed all great actors are more right than they are lib. Right leaning include, Robert Downey Jr. Clint Eastwood, Jon Voight. The list of horrible lib actors is long including Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Brad Pitt, There should be more great lib actors because there are more libs in Hollywood yet we see more great actors that are to the right.Why do all great actors in Hollywood lean to the right in politics?Lack of personal responsibility. These people have been coddled and "handled" for most of their lives starting from childhood. Do you really see Brad Pitt or Julia Roberts balancing their checkbooks or juggling bills? These people have managers and agents who take care of the things that make people reponsible and think that everyone should have a life where other people take care of you.Why do all great actors in Hollywood lean to the right in politics?

Why do all great actors in Hollywood lean to the right in politics?There is enormous pressure from those who run Hollywood to be a Leftist. Anyone who does not agree will typically be ex-communicated. The Republicans have already made it, and can do whatever they want.



Liberal policies always "sound" nice. I love how Cameron blasts corporations (and makes it seem like it's all Republicans), and yet makes Hundreds of Millions from his corporation. Phony Liberals.
Why pay attention to the politics of a bunch of actors and actresses? How are they better, smarter or in some way more informed about politics? David Carr's profile of Robert Downey Jr. in the New York Times featured a gold medal winning anecdote about Downey showing up two hours late for a meeting with a director, barefoot and carrying a shotgun. ROBERT DOWNEY JR. FOR PRESIDENT OF CRAZY. So good. I wish Robert Downey Jr. was my dad. But it also included a small side note on Robert Downey Jr.'s politics that I have spent the past day trying to parse out, with no success.

As someone who hasn't spent any time in either La Mirage or a penitentiary, I guess I have to defer to President Shotgun, but I do love when people present their political choices as inevitabilities beyond their control. "Obviously, if you had experienced the things that I have as a wealthy celebrity forced to suffer the legal consequences of my untreated drug addiction, you too would realize that it's impossible to have a progressive fiscal policy geared towards helping the nation's poor rather than just benefiting the rich, and of course the 30-foot-wall along the Mexican border wouldn't even be up for ******* discussion. Open your eyes, hippies! I'm Iron Man!"



Edit: You think Voight is a good actor? Seriously? Clint Eastwood is a moderate, not a conservative. He supports abortion rights, environmentalism, gun control, and other liberal policies, and he sides with Republicans on other issues.
