I read that when the first time movie people went to Hollywood, the place smells of orange blossom. While you can still find a fair share or orange trees growing in people's yards, there certainly aren't enough of them to scent the air, or to overcome the others smells of modern society, such as gasoline %26amp; diesel from the passing traffic.



If you want to smell orange trees while you're in L.A., though, go to a park in the Valley called Orcutt Ranch, at 23600 Roscoe Blvd, in Canoga Park. It has a fairly large grove of orange trees (and you can even pick oranges there once a year in July).
