This summer I want to move to Hollywood along with my aunt. How much would the whole thing cost?

It is not the glamorous city that it was in the heyday of the motion picture industry of the 1930's and 40's. Contrary to what you see on those stupid MTV reality shows, Hollywood is not a place you would want to live. It's actually borderline ghetto.



Housing in a decent part of Los Angeles will cost in the range of $1100 -1500 per month for a small one bed room apartment to as much as $3000 per month for a nice 3 bedroom apartment or house. If you want something more "up scale" the price goes way up.



Buy the way. Prostitutes man the streets at night (and some of them really are men!), you see junkies shooting up at every corner, there's trash on the streets, bums under every busstop.

Moreover, it's REALLY expensive. The guy above is right. The cheapest single bedroom apartments go for $1500+ a month.
