Shouldnt there be more of a variety of races among famous actors in hollywood?

when i try and think of a latino actor, for example, all i can think of is cheech marin and antonio banderas. and as for asian actors, i can only think of jackie chan. is it me or should there be more of a variety of races among actors in hollywood?Shouldnt there be more of a variety of races among famous actors in hollywood?I think it's dependent on what country the movies are being made in. We live in the US, so all the movies that are predominantly released here are either from the UK or USA. I lived about a year, and when I was there the movies I saw that were made their obviously had Latinos, and the same is with movies made in Asia, France and India.Shouldnt there be more of a variety of races among famous actors in hollywood? Not really. Every country have the right to show and view whatever they want to watch. In America, Americans in general aren't open to diversity in entertainment and they're not even open to entertainment from other countries that is mostly white as well. What I think is odd is that Americans wouldn't spend a second to enjoy most non-American entertainment, so why would other countries do otherwise and indulge in American entertainment?? However, it's like this in other areas of business. For example, most Japanese wouldn't even consider buying an American car...yet Americans indulge in Japanese cars.Shouldnt there be more of a variety of races among famous actors in hollywood?Latino: Adam Rodriguez, Eva Mendes

Asian: Lucy Liu

I honestly can't name that many actors from a variety of races, 1 because I have a bad memory and only know actors from their roles (example: girl from CSI:NY, the one who was fired then murdered later trying to catch a rapist. she's latina I think) and 2 because Hollywood is a cruel business and mostly they want stick thin blondies playing the roles, therefore ruling out most races.Shouldnt there be more of a variety of races among famous actors in hollywood?
there definitely should be more of a variety.
