I'm moving to southern CA at the end of this week. I'm renting a pickup truck to pick up some used furniture from various private homes. They all seem to be around the Hollywood / Hills area, and the pickup times are spread out throughout the day.
How can I make the most of 4 hours of downtime in that area? Should I park my pickup truck somewhere? Where? How much will it cost? What can I do with those few hours in that area? What can I do with a few hours in Hollywood? You can go shopping a little bit, suggested at The Grove, a nice outdoor shopping area off of Fairfax Ave. To eat, get In-N-Out Burger, they cook up the best fast food burgers in the country. Try not to spend too much because California is a bankrupt state and tons of people are losing their jobs!
Yet again, spending does help with the economy...What can I do with a few hours in Hollywood?
search some fun tourist attractions for ur down time. What can I do with a few hours in Hollywood?I doubt that you will have 4 hrs of downtime.. Moving anything anywhere is hard enough. Why not wait until you get settled, before you start exploring various areas. What can I do with a few hours in Hollywood?
Well you can go to the universal studies or just go to the Hollywood boulevard there is el capitan theater or Ripley believe it or not museum or even the wax museum. There are also buses that tour you aroundWhat can I do with a few hours in Hollywood?Hollywood Blvd can be fun, you can park at Hollywood and Highland, it's in a parking garage and only $2 for the first couple hours w/ a parking voucher (you can get one basically anywhere in the area) there is Lucky Strike bowling right there, as well as several places to eat. You can see the Hollywood sign from right there too. It's the most touristy part of Hollywood lol. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is there as well as the hand and footprints in the cement. Sunset Blvd is parallel w/ Hollywood Blvd so keep that in mind! Also there's a delicious diner called Kitchen 24 on Cahuenga Blvd, close to Sunset, their food is amazing. Big Wangs is a family place by day, sports bar by night. It is also on Cahuenga. Tuesday nights they have Taco Tuesday w/ $1 tacos and they hold beer pong after 10 pm. It's a lot of fun. Kinda slow during the day but it gets packed at night. While you are on Sunset, down by KTLA, the Home Depot and Denny's, there is a place called the Metropolitan. It used to be a hotel now it's apartments/lofts. You have to street park but once you get inside go up to the 10th floor and look at the model apt (it's open) or go all the way up to the roof (12th floor) - the view will take your breath away. I have a friend who lives in that building and you can see EVERYTHING from up there. The Hollywood sign, Downtown LA, even the ocean (on a good day)
Anyway I hope that helps!! I'm sure you will find something to do - and welcome to SoCal! :)
