Some of my novel is set in Hollywood should I have my main character work for a real studio or a made up one?

My Hollywood novel is set in old Hollywood (1950s) should I have my main character work for a real studio that was around at the time or should I just make one up?Some of my novel is set in Hollywood should I have my main character work for a real studio or a made up one?I'm in agreement as well. Besides, if your story becomes known, you'd have to worry about using a name that you didn't have permission to use. Best to come up with something to avoid difficulties.

Good luck!

While it would work just fine, there is a big chance you'll get something wrong or step on somebodys' toes.

It would be better to make up one.
