So what would happen if I rented a movie or game from hollywood and never returned it, and just started shopping at blockbuster from then on? well you do not return a movie or game you charged for a late fee and that fee keeps on growing and growing until you take the movie back, but whenever i don't take one back i just tell them that i did and that their system is messed up and they need to keep better track of their stock and do a better job... so if you need to resort to that, go right on ahead... works every time.What happens if you don't bring a movie back to blockbuster/hollywood?Well, you can't rent games or movies from Blockbuster without having a credit card on file there, so they would charge whichever card is on the account, whether you paid cash or not, full price for the game or movie.

From what I have seen after a week of so from overdue Hollywood would charge your bank account for the price of the movie/game. I know when they CLAIMED I had kept a movie (I didn't) they put a negative entry on my credit report. I had to pay for the tape before they would remove the entry.
