Put up some posters of your favorite glamorous stars (ie Marilyn Monroe) and display some cool old hats, purses, jewerly or shoes you've found at antique stores. Decorate your lamp shades with feathers and sequins. Get a satin bedspread or throw. Use lots of textures...satins, velvets, brocades. Get some of those wooden letters at Hobby Lobby to spell out Hollywood and paint them in gold for your wall on to set up on a shelf. You could look up autographs of stars and see if you can copy them on a closet door or curtain fabric. Hang a sparkly little chandelier from your ceiling. Your wall color could be girly and pink or more glamorous in silver. Be sure to put some Hollywood-like lights over a mirror! Hope this helps! Don't paint a Hollywood scene on the wall. Even if you are an awesome artist, it will end up looking cheesy, like a theme park.

My idea:

Bedding: http://www.swell.com/Girls-Bedding/ROXY-鈥?/a> which you can get here with the sheets and comforter seperate http://www.roxy.com/product/index.jsp?pr鈥?/a>

Walls: Benjamin Moore Moonlight or Lemon Drops (all walls the same color), doors, trim and ceiling painted white

Small accessories like the trashcan: White

Wall art: Now this is what makes the room Hollywood themed. Get 4-8 movie posters and frame them in matching thin black frames. Try to get posters that are all the same size. Try to get a good mix of genres. A few ideas (all 11x 17, target has a gallery frame this size for $14):

If that's not enough, get a poster of the Hollywood sign, frame it and hang it over your bed.
