Can a 16 year old take evercleanse or the hollywood 48 hour diet?

I am 16 and am totally overweight. My cousin is getting married in 15 days and I need to take off the weight FAST. I wanted to take evercleanse or the hollywood 48 hour drink because they are available at walmart and I don't have to wait so long to use it.



which is safer and more effective???

can I take both at the same time even though I do not want to??

As for the 48 hour drink diet, any sort of extreme diet is not going to take weight off in the long term Apparently with the Hollywood diet, you're not supposed to eat for two days. There is nothing healthy about that and even if you do lose the 10 pounds in 48 hours the product claims you will (highly unlikely), you'll probably put twice that back on when you're done. Starving yourself does far more damage than a little extra weight will ever do.



Products like these make diet companies so much money by helping us think there is something wrong with us and promising impossible unhealthy results.



If you feel your weight is higher than the weight your body is meant to be at then the best thing you can do is pay attention to your health. Make healthy food choices (variety of food, lots of fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains etc), drink lots of water, get enough sleep (8 hours a night) and get active doing some sort of exercise that gets your heart rate up and makes you sweat.



When you pay attention to your health, your body will settle at the weight it is meant to be at.



In the meantime, have fun at that wedding. Don't hide from life, no matter what size you are.
